FRANCHISE: Drama AT WIT'S END

ABOUT Network television has new competition as drama franchise "At Wit's End" raises the character education stakes to the limit and enters the educational entertainment market directly on DVD. High school social host Grape Juice and his girlfriend, Kristen, head the in-crowd with three-musketeers Avery, Nameless, and I.D. The two sets of taste-makers exchange focus in the blame game from episode to episode. "At Wit's End" viewers identify with each episode's guest star antagonist before the "accident" happens and attempts at damage-control ensue. In typical fair-weather friend fashion, Grape Juice and Kristen are the intelligent and charismatic seniors who have the skill to both organize the party and then duck responsibility for the consequences, leaving their now ex-new best friend to his or her fate. Learning the ropes from the older students are Nameless and Avery, and freshman I.D. who holds steadfastly to idealism while parting with innocence. "At Wit's End" is an Abject Street Media production distributed by WCEE.net and is the first of three spin-offs to be released, followed by "Bait & Switch!" and "Class Action", that are based on Geoff Gray-Lee's acclaimed college senior project "The Subject of a Moment" (1985). Geoff Gray-Lee is creator and auteur.
