Aileen Lawlor
SUBJECT SET: ALCOHOL (2009)

Ditto-Echo

Aileen Lawlor is a willing, versatile, and skilled performer. As Ditto-Echo, she appears in the sketch comedy "Alcohol Bait & Switch!" and stars in the adventure "Alcohol and Class Action." The two shows, along with drama "Alcohol At Wit's End," constitute the whole of WCEE.net's "Subject Set: Alcohol (2009)."

WCEE.net's "Subject Set" is the most complete virtual experience brand in educational entertainment. It is based on, and expanded from, the 1985 Film Ideas, Inc. release "The Subject of a Moment" that School Library Journal called "exceptionally well acted and carefully shot... strong impact without being preachy... outstanding... an excellent purchase choice," and Simon & Schuster called "very high quality... quite impressive... accurate... real..."

Lawlor is originally from Sussex County, New Jersey, is a alumni of HB Studio in New York. She was an extra in "The Pursuit of Happiness" starring Will Smith, "Milk" starring Sean Penn, Judd Apatow's "Funny People" with Seth Rogen and Adam Sandler, and appeared in "Owned" from San Francisco's Montanick Pictures, and a number of episodes of Japan's "World Astonishing News." She is also a fire-dancer and is a founding member of the Oakland-based fire performance troupe Vulcan Crew which has performed from Burning Man to the European Juggling Convention in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Lawlor has performed extensively on the U.S. East Coast. In Wantage, New Jersey, she appeared in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," "Our Town," "You Can't Take it With You," and "Anything Goes." In Branchville, New Jersey, she appeared in the Little Lost Arts productions of "Frankenstein" and "Dracula." She was also a Production Assistant during the 2001 season of the Pocono Playhouse in Mountainhome, Pennsylvania.

Lawlor worked on the 2008 commercial "Dingle," directed by Tony McNitt, which was nominated for Best Production Design at the San Francisco Academy of Art's Awards. She also appeared in the short film "Thru" which garnered many awards at the 2009 Festival. She also received an Excellence In Acting award from Bucks County Playhouse, the State Theatre of Pennsylvania, for their 2002 Drama Festival.

Lawlor lives in Oakland, California. She enjoys fire-dancing, spinning poi and contact staff, and world travel. She also enjoys her visits to the East Coast to be with her family.
